Softball Recap: Ponderosa Bruins vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras

In what's become a running theme this season, Ponderosa gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras as the Ponderosa Bruins made off with a 12-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ponderosa also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Chase Mueller and Brooklynn Nordquist did most of the damage at the plate: Mueller went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Nordquist went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Brynn Escobar, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

On Lincoln's side, Mallory Hamilton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
