Soccer Recap: Kellis Takes a Loss

Kellis and North pushed the score to 6-4 the last time they played North, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Kellis couldn't quite close it out.

Kellis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Kellis will square off against Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North and Catalina Foothills will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
