Basketball Recap: Canisteo-Greenwood Has No Trouble Against Arkport Central/Canaseraga

Canisteo-Greenwood's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past the Arkport Central/Canaseraga Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Arkport Central/Canaseraga's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Carey, who posted 17 points and five assists. The game was Carey's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Kohler Preston was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Canisteo-Greenwood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Arkport Central/Canaseraga, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Canisteo-Greenwood has already played their next match, a 65-49 win against Arkport Central on the 30th. Arkport Central/Canaseraga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
