Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission West Takes a Loss

Shawnee Mission West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mill Valley Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15.

Shawnee Mission West's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-2. As for Mill Valley, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Shawnee Mission West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Olathe South on the 4th. As for Mill Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lawrence Free State on the 7th.
