Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Panthers vs. Adena Warriors

Southeastern is 2-8 against Adena since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Southeastern Panthers will be playing at home against the Adena Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Southeastern didn't have quite enough to beat Federal Hocking and fell 59-57. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Lancers are ranked 78th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Adena, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They put the hurt on Jackson with a sharp 47-27 win last Friday.

Southeastern's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for Adena, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Southeastern lost to Adena at home by a decisive 56-39 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Southeastern avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
