Woodland Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Summerville Bears a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on six straight.

Billy Flowers and Jandro Torres did most of the damage at the plate: Flowers went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Torres went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave Flowers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Parker Howald, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
