The Richmond Bobcats will challenge the Carrabec Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Richmond made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Telstar, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bobcats fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 12-10 on Tuesday.

Breonna Dufresne and Charlotte Crawson did some serious damage despite the final result: Dufresne got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Crawson got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Dufresne is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Valley, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Carrabec got the win against Greenville on Tuesday by a conclusive 21-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.
Jillian Robinson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Carrabec let Adawna Landry and Amiya Tibbetts run wild. Landry went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI, while Tibbetts went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aiyana Tibbetts, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Carrabec pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 12.3 runs thus far. As for Richmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Richmond suffered a grim 14-8 defeat to Carrabec in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
