David Crockett barely beat Cocke County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers breezed past the Fighting Cocks to the tune of 49-7 on Friday. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Fighting Cocks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Aj Wynn had a dynamite game, rushing for 78 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, while also throwing for 115 yards and one touchdown on only nine passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (146.8).

Special teams also played a big role in the game for David Crockett, adding 19 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wynn, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

David Crockett's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Cocke County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither David Crockett nor the Fighting Cocks have any future games scheduled.
