Recap: Lutheran vs. Rockford East
Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 7-0 walloping at the hands of the Rockford East E-Rabs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lutheran of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rockford East, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.
Lutheran will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stillman Valley at 4:30 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Rockford East, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m.
