Soccer Game Preview: Notre Dame vs. Eisenhower

The Notre Dame Titans will square off against the Eisenhower Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Notre Dame's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Notre Dame fell victim to Arroyo Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 987th, while the Hawks are ranked 173rd).

Meanwhile, Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Rim of the World.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-3.

Everything went Notre Dame's way against Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Notre Dame made off with a 6-3 win. In that contest, Notre Dame amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
