Soccer Recap: Odyssey Institute Has No Trouble Against Florence

Odyssey Institute's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Florence Gophers 8-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Minotaur considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Their offense was hitting Florence from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Andrew Morales led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The win got Odyssey Institute back to even at 1-1. As for Florence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Odyssey Institute will welcome ALA - West Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. ALA - West Foothills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Odyssey Institute surely won't give up without a fight. As for Florence, they will head out on the road to square off against Seton Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
