Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cypress Springs last Friday, Cypress Falls came back down to earth. The Cypress Falls Eagles came up short against the Memorial Mustangs on Monday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Cypress Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerzie Bay, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cypress Falls now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Memorial, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Cypress Falls wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 defeat against Cypress Creek on the 25th. As for Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Cypress Ridge on the 25th.
