Softball Recap: Gateway Regional Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Gateway Regional's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Haddonfield Bulldawgs with a sharp 17-7 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Gators considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Adriana Endt and Emma Worthington did most of the damage at the plate: Endt got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and three RBI, while Worthington went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Morgan McNally, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Gateway Regional's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12. As for Haddonfield, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-7-1.
