After losing to Trinity the last time they met, Cooper decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cooper Jaguars walked away with a 57-46 win over the Trinity Shamrocks on Sunday. The Jaguars' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Cooper's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Trinity, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cooper Jaguars take on the George Rogers Clark Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (George Rogers Clark has won five straight at home, while Cooper won four straight on the road dating back to last season), something that'll have to change. As for Trinity, they will venture away from home to take on Mercer County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mercer County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Trinity surely won't give up without a fight.
