Basketball Game Preview: Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres vs. Beth Tfiloh Warriors

The Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres will square off against the Beth Tfiloh Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sts. Peter & Paul knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Beth Tfiloh likes a good challenge.

Sts. Peter & Paul is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Indian Creek on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Sts. Peter & Paul lost 86-62 to Indian Creek. The defeat continues a trend for the Sabres in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beth Tfiloh). They strolled past Park School with points to spare back in December of 2024, taking the game 59-44.

Beth Tfiloh's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
