Baseball Recap: Springs Valley Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Springs Valley's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Barr-Reeve Vikings on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost nine in a row.

Springs Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manny Pantoja, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Springs Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Barr-Reeve, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Springs Valley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Orleans at 5:30 p.m. The Blackhawks are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Barr-Reeve, they will head out to take on Shoals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
