Last Thursday, Eden Prairie didn't have quite enough to beat Southwest Christian and fell 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Stars 25-18 in the first period.
Eden Prairie took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-18, 15-25, 26-24, 15-9.
Eden Prairie's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Finley Lane, who had 15 digs, and Sophia Kuechle, who had ten digs.
Meanwhile, Jefferson earned a 3-1 victory over St. Louis Park on Tuesday.
