Volleyball Recap: Paetow Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Paetow faced off against Spring on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2018.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Paetow took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14.

Paetow now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Spring, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Paetow's road trip will continue as they head out to face New Caney at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Spring, they will take on Barbers Hill in a tournament on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
