Baseball Recap: Heavener Comes Up Short

Heavener was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Kingston Redskins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Heavener's defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Kingston, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Heavener didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Sperry on the 29th. As for Kingston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-5 win against Wyandotte on the 29th.
