Football Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Joshua Owls. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 42-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Joshua, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will square off against Midlothian Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Joshua, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
