Football Game Preview: Linden Lions vs. Summerville Bears + Official Tickets

The Linden Lions will head out to take on the Summerville Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Linden is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 21-13 win over Stone Ridge Christian. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Lions were the (much) better team in the second half.

Linden's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Juarez led the charge by rushing for 84 yards and one score, while also catching one TD. Another player making a difference was Jacob Ricketts, who threw for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Summerville entered their tilt with Rio Vista on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Rams 41-6. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won six games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Linden's record now sits at 7-4. As for Summerville, their record is now 9-2.

Linden and Summerville were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in October, but Linden came up empty-handed after a 21-20 loss. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
