Basketball Recap: Lincolnview Takes a Loss

Lincolnview suffered their biggest defeat since November 26, 2024 on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Columbus Grove Bulldogs and fell 70-37. The Lancers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lincolnview still got an impressive performance from Emerson Walker, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 19 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Price, who posted nine points.

Lincolnview's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Columbus Grove, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Lincolnview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-41 win against Hicksville on the 18th. As for Columbus Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 46-25 victory against Miller City on the 18th.
