Football Recap: Tullahoma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Tullahoma lost against Nolensville back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucas Reed threw for 72 yards on seven of 13 attempts. Julian Cole was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Marvancy Johnson rushed for 72 yards.

Nolensville can attribute much of their success to Ryan Newell, who threw for 138 yards and one TD while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards.

Tullahoma's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Nolensville, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Tullahoma and Nolensville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Tullahoma will take on rival Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nolensville is set to face off against their familiar foe Lawson on Friday.
