South Gate not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Huntington Park Spartans. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

South Gate's got stronger as the match went on, holding Huntington Park to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

South Gate's record now sits at 6-9. As for Huntington Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
