Softball Recap: Morristown Has No Trouble Against West Orange

Morristown was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against West Orange on Wednesday. The Colonials were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Mountaineers. The Colonials might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Morristown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Morristown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Chatham on the 2nd. As for West Orange, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-0 victory against American History on the 1st.
