Basketball Recap: Glades Central Takes a Loss

Glades Central was the 37-36 winner over Royal Palm Beach when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Glades Central Raiders took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Royal Palm Beach's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aria Junious, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Mallory, who earned ten points.

Glades Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Royal Palm Beach, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Glades Central will square off against Leonard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royal Palm Beach, they will challenge Park Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Park Vista will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Royal Palm Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
