Basketball Recap: Storm Lake's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Storm Lake lost against Cherokee Washington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm Lake Tornadoes took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherokee Washington Braves. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Storm Lake's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Cherokee Washington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Storm Lake has already played their next contest (against Denison-Schleswig), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cherokee Washington will challenge Estherville Lincoln Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
