Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Radnor

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Radnor). Everything went their way against the Penncrest Lions on Wednesday as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Raptors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18, 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Radnor, bringing their record up to 7-1. As for Penncrest, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Radnor will host Garnet Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raptors 1.4, the Jaguars 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Penncrest, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lower Merion at 3:45 p.m. The Aces' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
