Basketball Recap: Bellows Falls Gets the Win

If Leland & Gray wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bellows Falls, they should've done a better job of containing Laura Kamel. The Bellows Falls Terriers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Leland & Gray Rebels 65-19 thanks in part to Kamel, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Nola Sciacca was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Bellows Falls now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Leland & Gray, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Bellows Falls will face off against Poultney at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd. As for Leland & Gray, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-35 defeat against Green Mountain on the 30th.
