West Tallahatchie gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 30-14 victory over the Palmer Dragons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Choctaws also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Kordell Robinson threw for 120 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes. Jamerrius Johnson was his top target, picking up 78 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Kelvin Robinson rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Tallahatchie will take on West Bolivar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmer, they will challenge Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
