The matchup between Marshfield and Medford on Monday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Raiders. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Marshfield's win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Medford, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will host D.C. Everest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Medford, they will face off against Tomahawk at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
