Baseball Game Preview: West Panthers vs. East Leopards

For the second straight game, West will face off against East. The Panthers will face off against the Leopards at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. West is looking for their season's first win.

West and East faced off in a cross-town battle on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 15-4 to the Leopards. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

For East's part, Cannon Lunt was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Lunt a new career-high. Kollin Stevens was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

East was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

East's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
