The Jaybirds have struggled against the Pipers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Jayton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Hamlin, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Jayton will square off against Aspermont at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Hamlin, they will look to defend their home field on the 22nd against Baird at 4:30 p.m.
