Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Westside's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Westside won the last time they faced Jackson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Westside Seminoles came out on top against the Jackson Red Devils by a score of 40-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seminoles.

Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Domonique Billue, who posted 22 points and seven steals. Billue is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Bre?Elle King was another key player, putting up five points along with six boards and four steals.

Westside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jackson only pulled down four offensive rebounds.

Westside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points per game. As for Jackson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-23 victory against Howard on the 5th. Jackson has also already played their next game, a 62-38 win against Pike County on the 5th.
