Softball Recap: Brooke Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Brooke waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Grafton Bearcats.

Avery Rado spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 19 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eden McKinney, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Emma Bober was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Brooke back to even at 16-16. As for Grafton, they moved to 13-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Brooke nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
