Baseball Recap: Many Victorious

Many put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Zwolle Hawks get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Daniel Thomas was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonas Hendrickson, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Thomas wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Many kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The victory got Many back to even at 11-11. As for Zwolle, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Many will welcome Red River at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zwolle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
