Volleyball Recap: Northern Durham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Northern Durham lost against Chapel Hill back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-18, 25-14.

Leading Chapel Hill to victory were Lillian Petley and Taylor Davies. Petley had five digs and three aces, while Davies had six digs and four aces. Those six digs gave Davies a new career-high. Ainsley Stanley also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Northern Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Chapel Hill, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Northern Durham has already played their next match (against Cristo Rey Research Triangle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chapel Hill, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Riverside-Durham on the 23rd.
