The King Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Redlands Terriers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. King is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

King is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Ramona just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

King saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Chavez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Chavez also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Redlands entered their tilt with West Valley on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 5-3. While the Terriers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Redlands, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-2.
