Basketball Recap: Heppner Takes a Loss

Heppner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 54-30 to the Grant Union Prospectors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Prospectors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-39 back in January.

Heppner's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Grant Union, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heppner will square off against Irrigon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Heppner is facing Irrigon at the right time seeing as Irrigon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grant Union, they will take on Weston-McEwen at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
