Softball Recap: East Lyme Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for East Lyme's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Waterford Lancers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

East Lyme now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Waterford, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, East Lyme will head out on the road to challenge Plainfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waterford, they will face off against Norwich Free Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
