Basketball Recap: Maryland School for the Deaf Triumphs

Maryland School for the Deaf's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles by a score of 43-36. The Orioles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Maryland School for the Deaf has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they moved to 8-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maryland School for the Deaf will venture away from home to take on Greater Grace Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Grace Christian Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Maryland School for the Deaf surely won't give up without a fight. As for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, they are taking a road trip to challenge Burke at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
