Baseball Recap: Sycamore Aviators vs. Middletown Middies

Sycamore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Middletown Middies with a sharp 13-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 on Monday.

Sycamore got a great performance from Corwin Wang as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Zach Branam and Cal Frischer did most of the damage at the plate: Branam went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Frischer went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.
