Chardon and Kenston are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Chardon Hilltoppers will be playing at home against the Kenston Bombers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chardon better focus on containing Eli Ellis and Ethan Burge as the pair were huge in Kenston's win. Ellis went 5-for-8 to rack up 13 points and three steals, while Burge went 6-for-7 on his way to 16 points and five boards. Those 16 points gave Burge a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Akins, who posted seven points and three steals.

Kenston was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Chardon's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Kenston, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.
