Volleyball Recap: Bismarck's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bismarck entered their tilt with Dickinson on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Midgets by a score of 3-1. The Demons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Midgets, too.

Bismarck walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-10, 25-18.

Bismarck got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aspen Roaldson out in front who had 36 assists and 21 digs. Roaldson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season. Rosalyn Brunelle was another key player, getting 11 digs, nine kills, and three aces.

Bismarck's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bismarck is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mary's Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dickinson will square off against rival Minot at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
