JS Clark Leadership Academy had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-39 victory over the North Central Hurricanes. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 211th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

JS Clark Leadership Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-11. As for North Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-21.
