Baseball Recap: Mt. Eden Takes a Loss

Mt. Eden fell victim to Arroyo and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Dons, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Monarchs have suffered since April 4th.

Mt. Eden's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Arroyo, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Eden will host San Leandro at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Monarchs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arroyo, they will welcome American at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
