Soccer Recap: Epiphany Comes Up Short

Epiphany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Wayne Country Day Chargers, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wayne Country Day this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in August.

Epiphany's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Wayne Country Day, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Epiphany is set to face off against their familiar foe Harrells Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. Meanwhile, Wayne Country Day will square off against rival Wayne Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
