Basketball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Piles Up the Points Against Wynot

Bancroft-Rosalie won the last time they faced Wynot and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers blew past the Wynot Blue Devils, posting a 58-31 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Bancroft-Rosalie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kairece Morris led the charge by dropping a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. What's more, Morris posted four steals, the most she's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Makenna James, who earned six points along with eight assists, eight steals, and seven boards.

Bancroft-Rosalie smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Bancroft-Rosalie now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Wynot, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-9.

Bancroft-Rosalie has already played their next contest, a 50-43 defeat against Archangels Catholic on the 20th. Wynot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
