Basketball Recap: Mexico Piles Up the Points Against Hannibal

Mexico won the last time they faced Hannibal and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mexico Bulldogs claimed a resounding 74-40 victory over the Hannibal Pirates. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 33 points or more this season.

Mexico's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points per game. As for Hannibal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mexico and Waynesville will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 26th.
