Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Ironman/Ironladies vs. Zane Trace Pioneers

Jackson is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Zane Trace is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies will welcome the Zane Trace Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jackson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Miami Trace just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Ironman/Ironladies have suffered since December 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, Zane Trace played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-40 to Unioto. The defeat continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Shermans: they've now lost three in a row.

Zane Trace's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Jackson, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

Jackson strolled past Zane Trace in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 50-36. Does Jackson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Zane Trace turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
